Because we own 100 % of all the rights to the music in our library, other parties have no right to make a claim on your video. Unfortunately, false claims are a known issue when using any music on YouTube – but on a more positive note, as we've got all of our tracks registered in YouTube's Content ID the likelihood is small when using Epidemic Sound music.
If you should receive a Content ID claim from a third party when you know that you have the legal right to use it, you can have the claim retracted. Please file a dispute with the link to our website, and if you can, add a URL of the track you used from our library. Learn more about how to dispute claims here. Please then contact us at hello@epidemicsound.com with a screenshot of the claim and the URL of your video, so we can contact the claimant from our end.
We're sorry for the inconvenience a false claim may cause you and if it were to happen to your video we'll do everything we can to have the claim retracted. Don't hesitate to reach out to us at hello@epidemicsound.com if you have more questions about YouTube's claiming process. We'll do anything to help!
